Privacy Policy

The short version

SpeakClear has no accounts, no ads, no cookies and no analytics. We do not record, upload or store your voice or your text on any server we run.

Your voice

Scoring happens in your browser. Speech-to-text is performed by your browser’s built-in speech service (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari), which may process audio under its own privacy policy. Pause and rhythm measurements are calculated locally from your microphone signal and discarded when you leave the page.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts loads the typefaces, so Google receives your IP address.
• When you tap a word, the word is sent to dictionaryapi.dev to fetch its phonetics and audio.
• If the site owner enables AI paragraphs, your chosen topic, level and focus sound (never your voice) are sent to a Cloudflare Worker running Workers AI.
• The hosting provider may keep standard server logs.

Children

The tool is not directed at children under 13. Please use it with a parent or teacher’s guidance.
